Ta Da! My New Office...

I know you all have been waiting. Here it is. Our new (renovated) building and my new office. My very own, private office. Sorta bittersweet. I miss Marci tons :( I still see her all the time. We have lunch together like always. But I don't have anyone (besides G, and she does count) to TALK to all day long! Marci and I would have an ongoing conversation all day long, both of us only half listening half the time, but that was fine. I miss that.

Anyway, on to the pictures.

The new STIC.


That very first window on the left? That was gonna be my office window. But that's a double office and when Marci got a new position she had to leave our office with a window. I didn't really want to take my chances on who I would get as a replacement officemate, so I bolted, too, to my own office, sans window. Window offices are a very rare commodity in our new building. I used to have 3 huge windows! Now, none. And a bright blue wall. No, I did NOT get to pick the color. I like the carpet, though. And, actually, the blue is growing on me. It's not so bright in person. And my grandpa's paintings look good on it. So, there's that.

And finally, the jam session going on TONIGHT in my dining room.
