OMG. Disregard my last post. My little bitchy attitude is nothing today. This is my home town. We have no idea what is going on right now, how many people have been killed or injured. Some crazy lunatic is shooting people, blocks away from where I sit right now. Please pray for everyone still inside the ACA.

Thank you both. It looks like it is over, though it will never be over for the families who have lost loved ones. Prelim. info is that 12 people are dead, at least 5 more wounded. And the guy shot himself. Bastard.
It's been a very stressful, sad day for me, too-- but I think "bastard" is not the right word for this guy. People who shoot other people are seldom bastards. They are angry, scared, confused, hurt and hurting. Honestly, as my heart's going out to the victims and their families, it's also going out to the shooter and hisfamily, who are victims of another sort. Victims of mental illness, depression, rage... who knows?
Ok, now that everyone knows I'm crazy for feeling empathetic towards a murderer... I'll sign off. :)
