Well, we have some good news and some not so happy news. The good news is that we took the laptop to CC yesterday and the guys at the "Firedog" desk (what a stupid name!) said that my computer was under warranty still and that since you couldn't tell that it fell off the table, Sony should fix it for us. He said to tell them that the operation system won't load, for whatever reason. Cool. That means a free fix.
The not so great news is that I have to call Sony (this means, probably, at least an hour if not more on hold) to tell them this happy news. Then I think I have to send it back to them to be fixed. So, I figure we won't see the laptop till sometime around G's 18th birthday. (Pout!)
But, at least it should be free, and that is good news. However, this means unless I get desperate and load the camera software on this stinky computer there will be no pictures for a while. (Double Pout, that's my favorite part!)
